A Louisiana Mom and Iraq War veteran pulled a gun on a man who tried to get into her car!

A mother and veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan said she had to do something she never dreamed of.

While stuck in traffic on Interstate 10 in New Orleans, she said someone tried to get in her car.

So, her training kicked in and she pulled out a gun.

Mexico sues U.S. gun makers for billions stating "negligent practices"!

In early February, the attorneys general of 12 states and Washington DC expressed support for the Mexican government’s $10 Billion lawsuit against U.S. gun manufacturers. The lawsuit, filed in 2021, blames U.S. manufacturers for the increase in Mexico’s gun violence and rampant trafficking across the southern border. Among the defendants are Smith & Wesson, Colt and Glock, who filed a motion to dismiss the case based on a federal law that protects gun manufacturers from lawsuits such as these.

In November of 2021, the Supreme Court put its blessing on Denver police officers' suppression of the first amendment rights of a witness who recorded them punching and piling onto a man. When he witnessed the brutal scene unfolding in August of 2014, Levi Frasier whipped out his tablet and started filming. After the officers were done restraining the uncooperative man, Officer Christopher Evans walked up to Frasier and said, “Well, we can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way,” gesturing to the backseat of a police car.

Georgia Supreme Court Affirms Gun Rights

In a unanimous decision issued Tuesday, the state high court overturned a DeKalb County probate judge’s denial of a carry license on grounds an applicant’s criminal background report failed to show the outcome of an arrest that could have resulted in a disqualifying conviction.

“Denials like that have been pretty common across the state, but that is not going to be the case any longer,” said Dawsonville attorney John Monroe, whose client, Clinton Bell, was denied the carry license.

Seventeen Gun Companies Move To Friendlier States

The gun industry is warning liberal states that pushing for anti-gun policies and taxes will speed an already active escape by weapons makers to friendlier states such as South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation, the industry lobbying and information group, is encouraging its members to look at the trend away from anti-gun states including New York and Maryland.

Gov. Murphy Wants Stricter Gun Control In Early 2021

Thursday New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy urged state lawmakers to pass stricter gun control legislation before the current legislative session ends next January.

Though New Jersey has some of the strongest gun laws in the nation, Murphy said the state has more work to do in response to rising gun violence in cities like Trenton and Paterson.
